It is an honor and obligation for me to be active in the mine-ex foundation board as a representative of the founders’ club RC Burgdorf. I had the opportunity to experience mine-ex from the very beginning. The first lectures of Rot Hans Stirnemann remain unforgettable, in which he reported enthusiastically about his work as a doctor in the mined areas of Cambodia. I feel committed to his credo of “helping victims” and I am looking forward to helping the mine-ex foundation develop further together with my competent colleagues on the Board of Trustees and to contributing to enabling as many mine victims as possible to lead a self-determined life.
